Cabin Fever/Insanity set in?

As most everyone knows the who north & north east has been a sub zero DEEP freeze this winter. For those of use that are STUCK up here and relegated to staying in side after 2 months cabin fever starts setting in. Well to day is the 1st day with temps in the 20s in a while. So what do I do? Spend 2 hours out in the woods cutting down trees for NEXT YEARS fire wood! After 2 hours my hands and feet were froze, but my shirt was soaked with sweat. So is this insanity or what?

I live in the South to avoid that situation. Of course we get cabin fever too but it's only after three days. We're sending this stuff your way and -- You're welcome.

With 16" of snow on the ground and more falling, I only went out for a short while today. I shoveled a path to the Durango just in case my parents call to say they need something their neighbor across the street can't take care of.

Yes but you will have it done so next year you can RV one more weekend. Hit low low 30tes today but fierce wind went out side and "Gently" took some of the snow off the roof on the MH got 1/2 off.
Next week snow but in the lower 30ties and lows @ night in the 20's But above zero.
Could it be the turning point? Spring

x2 on that pagosajoe!!

We just made reservations to get out of the Colorado deep freeze in mid March and head to SO California, we'll see if the weather gods will let us get over Raton pass. Always a "game time decision" to be trying to leave and get back into Colorado in the Spring.

Got tired of cutting wood. Broke down and bought a pellet stove. When I get tired of the pellet stove I will move south.

Where you live is, in the end, your decision.

Cold is not necessarily bad, nor heat necessary good.
