Calling all Nurses

My wife and I are going to start some serious RVing this year. I had to pry my wife, age 67, away from her nursing job as she loves it.

What are the opportunities for a RN, BSN, Certified Case Manager to work or volunteer while out RVing.

I know she won't be real happy unless she is helping people.

Bob

During the summer, try camps. A camp we are associated with has a nurse that full times and spends the entire summer at our cmp. Pay isn't much but camping with full hookups and WIFI is free. BTW, I think she is 72.

My sister and her husband (retired) and traveled in their MH. They spend a great deal of time in Mission TX. Sister is BSN, MSN, Phd, I believe she is licensed in SD and IL but not sure what she did with licensing in TX. Perhaps they have a reciprocal agreement with licensing. I know she stayed pretty active with various nursing venues in the Mission TX area. There are a lot of people with inadequate health care and she chose to work with home nursing care and cancer patients in particular.

Nurses licensed in one of the 24 Nurse Licensure Compact States (SD and TX are two of them) can practice in any of those states.

My DW volunteers at a free clinic in Corpus Christi where we spend our winters.
