Woo hoo! Glad you got the shower goin'. Did you get your new shower head yet?

I'm a New Orleans Saints fan, so I didn't pay much attention to the Texans.

CorLyn Believe it or not it is the first big storm here in the PNW in about 3 years. We may get an inch or 2 but nothing like this. I have live here over 50 years and only remember 3 to 5 times in the last 30 years we have had this much snow in the area. Hang in there and stay off the roads if you can.

Oh yes, rarely is there that much snow there. The last big snow i really remember was in 1989. Over a foot if i remember right.

If the HOA sends me a letter, I shall place it in File 13 and get on with my life. How I envy those of you who have complete access to your RV, there on your own property. Sigh.
I can sympathise with your withdrawal. We have the same situation with the exception that our motorhome is 30 miles away. On the other hand I've seen what happens in a neighborhood that has no restrictions.

We have a subdivision a few miles away with no such restrictions and it isn't pretty. The streets are lined with motorhomes most of which are in such bad shape I doubt they could go 20 miles without falling apart. I believe most of the owners are living full time in their rigs parked in front, or in the driveway of a freind or relatives house.

I used to growl about the fact that we can only leave our motorhome in the drive for a few days. Now I just take a little drive and look around thinking what the neighborhood could look like. I'm sure the current rules are in place to avoid what I see down the road.

Just tell the HOA you are having a tailgating party for the upcoming football playoff games, and as soon as the superbowl is over, you will move it.

Ours is parked here at the country villa in east Texas for a few days. It'll be back in the Houston area for a few days waiting for our first extended trip since our New Years extravaganza.

I don't know how I ever had time to work because this retirement takes way too much time.

When we moved out of our last house and HOA we both agreed never to do another HOA situation again. Currently we live in a FREE area that is bordered by a Deed Restricted neighborhood. An entrance sign is at the edge of our property. They can look at this:

If you can live anywhere you desire, tell me why people buy in a community with ccrs, a special studies zone, a flood zone, or a special tax zone?!? When I bought my last house I said the same thing to the realtor and she took 30% of the listings off the to see list. She was surprised I even asked. I have my 5er in my side yard.

For me, I don't want to live next door with your 5er in the driveway or anybody else's truck/mh . Living in a HOA works for us 98% of the time. I can and do live with that.
