Campside near Oregon border

Hi there, We're going from northern California to Corvalis, Oregon. It's a 600 mile trip. Does anyone recommend a safe place to stay near the California/Oregon border?

Thank you
Theresa

About 1 hour north of the border: Oregon State Parks and Recreation Department: Valley of the Rogue State Park

7 Feathers at I-5 MP 99 in OR is a great place and fairly cheap too. Good food too. They also have dry camping and it's all pretty secure too as the security comes around on a 24 hr basis.

If you don't mind going a little farther north, Seven Feathers in Canyonville, OR is a great place to stay. Probably one of the best in the state! Ignore the casino if that's not your thing. That will get you about 2 1/2 hours from Corvallis.

If you can make it to Eugene there is the Valley River Center a large shopping complex they have a parking lot designated for Rv's on the SW corner its free for 2 days no hook-ups but good for overnighting right next to the river and a jogging path.

I have heard a lot of good things about that 7 feathers place.
Never been there ourselves yet.

Can't beat Seven Feathers Campground, huge level sites, full hookups, pool, clean showers if needed, separate fireplace area away from the MH's where they supply the nightly firewood if you request it, 24 hour shuttle to the Casino, if you get the players card(don't have to gamble to get it) and have AAA or GS discounts it comes down to $37 a night. One of the cleanest well run CG's we have ever stayed at.

Well, some of the spots at 7 Feathers won't accommodate a 45' MH with towed, even unhooked in a pull through we will have to park a ways away. With the 40' Dutch Star it was crowded but we could still park in the site.
You don't have to eat at the casino either, they have a nice restaurant at the gas/truck plaza and the shuttle will drop and pick you up there too. Plus there's a swimming pool to try if you're so inclined, I was!

Another Vote for Seven Feathers! The Restaurant at the Fuel Station is in MHO a big step up from the one in the Casino!
We have stayed at The RV Park and loved it ,but We don't always need the Full hookup ,Pool etc. so will also stay at either the Upper Rest Area or the Lower RV Dry Park, depending on direction and weather, plus how long that We really want to stick around!

Yes, Crescent City, CA. has a great campground on the water in town called SHORELINE RV park. $32/ nite.

We are planning to spent a week there this August. 😀

We'll be at 7 Feathers June 1 for 3 nights on our way to Coos Bay.

Looking forward to it.

We too will be at 7 Feathers on the night of the 21st. Always stop there, coming and going. Won't find a better place ANYWHERE on I-5.
