Cape Liberty Cruise Port, New Jersey

We are going on a cruise out of this port we have never been to New york
How far are we from the Statue of liberty
Can you see the Statue of liberty from the port
We will be flying in what Airport is the closest
We will have 1 night in a Hotel any recommendations on where to stay near the port

Here are some hotels I googled in the Port area.I http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&c....1.Uz35-ybJG3g .I looked at the map and you will be a short cab ride form Liberty State Park which has a ferry to the Statue. You need a reservation to go into the Statue but just walking around it is incredible. Hope you can do it all. Have a great trip.
