Carrying a man purse
So I have become the object of my B&C ridicule because I started taking a bag with me.. I have way too much stuff I carry and my pants were falling down. 2 cell phones, my iPad, wifi hotspot, tic tacs, gum, a huge key chain, cigarettes, lighter, wallet and other nessities when we are out sight seeing. Whats the big deal? its a cute little Airstream bag, nothing flashy or anything like that. I don't understand? Am I the only guy that prefers to not look like I have a kitchen sink in his pockets?

Howdy!
If your worried about losng you "Man Card" you might consider a backpack, and the answer to the question is NO.

When I get into the situation where I need a little extra carrying capacity... I tend to use a back-pack.. a bit more masculine than a bag/purse, or as some call it, a "murse" (man+purse=murse)...
But.. to each his own !!

Yeah, use a small backpack, instead. No one will even notice (except maybe security types). LOL

I also carry a "man purse" for the very same reasons as you.
I keep my phone, keys and wallet in it also and it has belt loops so I can use it hands free! I call it "the football" (The empty loop in front is where I store my cell phone.)

Fishing or tactical type vest works for me, but I do night security work so it fits the lifestyle.

I always wear my back pack at RV shows. I can load it up and it keeps my hands free.

At times I will carry my man purse and I don't care what anyone thinks. It is a small leather bag that does look masculine. I do a lot of picture taking so I have extra batteries, etc., also second sets of keys, passport, checkbook, reading glasses, cigs, lighter, and things like gum, rolaids, aspirins, extra handkerchiefs, bottle of water, Swiss Army knife, quarters for parking meters and for car washes, etc, etc. It works for me. I've had it for over 15 years now.
It does have a shoulder strap that I will use sometimes.

My thoughts on carring a man purse. Good for you. If it works for you, then do it. Myself, I could care less what people think. I am going to do what works foe me. And if it means caring a man purse. so be it. I am considering awearing a back pack. That way I can care my Trekking poles, folding white cane, 3 legged stool, water bladder, snacks, camera and etc. You never know what you may want when out and about.
Have a good time carring the stuff you want. \

I often carry one or two bats. One has primarily technology stuff. The other is food, for the limited and very specific diet I eat. Don't much care what others think.

I use a simple little belly purse to keep my wallet, phone, keys, lip balm, eye lubricant and hand lotion. Works for me. Oh, and my sun and reading glasses.

Some of the guys carrying a man-purse have CCW permits and their gun is stashed inside.

This is great...after losing my wife I had a hard time giving up her purse, I threatened to keep using it but my kids nixed the idea. It definitely isn't fair...men need to carry things to. Makes it less likely to lose wallet, keys, phone, etc. Murse makes sense to me!
