Casino-fun!!!

CASINO EXCITEMENT!

OK GUYS I know there are a few gamblers out there and everyone has a story to tell.

What is your favorite casino?

What do you like to play?

Wins/Losses

Experiences

I like to play Roulette and one of my favorite casinos is Treasure Bay Casino & Hotel down in Biloxi, Mississippi.

WOW! 50 cent chips at the Roulette Wheel with $2.00 min bets. If you want to learn the game without going broke right away, this is the place to be. I have never been to a casino where you could play roulette at a bargain price.

Small casino but friendly Southern hospitality.

My favorite slot game is “Party Time”. The most I ever won playing slots at one time was $850

But,

I want tell you how much I loss, Ha Ha!!!

My idea of visiting a casino is that I should ride by the front entrance, drop a $100 bill out the window, and just keep going. That would save me money.

We were in Las Vegas 2 weeks ago. We left a large sum of money there for the casinos to hold. Going back next week to see if we can find it!

The DW & I both like to play slots. Not the best on odds, no lecture please. We consider it our entertainment, and we don't go out very often for any type of entertainment.
Our favorite casino is the ones I the center f the Strip and The Gold Coast.

Well, I am the gambler in our outfit. I have a hard time leaving when I'm ahead but every once in a while, I manage to leave with my pocket full.
The best I ever had was on a $1 machine with a $2 max bet. Put in $20 and hit the jackpot that paid $8000. That was a FUN day for sure.
Made a couple of stops in Laughlin this spring to find the money we left there a few years back. No success on that venture and in fact, we have to go back now because we left some more that has to be recovered.

We love gambling, but gambling don't love us! We have casino's 2 hours away in Wendover Nevada, but we haven't been in years. Our last casino trip was about 8 years ago, with a group party who were racing at the Vegas drag strip. Part of the reason it was our last trip was my luck at blackjack. It started off bad enough that I kept track. It began in Mequite Nevada, 2 different casinos, while in Vegas I tried tables at 3 different casinos, then on the way back one more try in Mesquite...

I finally gave up after going 0 for 27. 3 hands were double-downs, 3 were splits, one of which was split twice. Out of all that, 8 pushes, no winners, 27 hands.

The wife fared nearly as well at her beloved video poker. She was almost always good for a royal flush during a 2-day trip, but she never did better than a full house.

I do enjoy a good poker game, but as for casino play, that trip soured us big time. Haven't been inside a casino since.

I have a strict $10 limit on the slots! (High Roller) My hub likes to play poker but we are not big gamblers at all. Our favorite casino is the Hollywood in Bay St Louis, MS because they have a seafood buffet and a very nice campground.

The new Palace Casino in Biloxi COMPLETELY NON SMOKING...waterfront overnight parking, golf cart back and forth, very good buffet. Pretty loose slots.

Just returned from our second visit to Las Vegas this month. We did retrieve most of the money they were holding for us from our previous visit at the beginning of the month.

Casinos and Lotteries are for people who failed math class. I taught math for 30 years and see no fun in playing odds not in my favor -- ever! Last time I was in a casino was because the other driver wanted to stop. I walked around and saw none of the excitement and noise I expected from watching TV show Las Vegas (the one from '03 to 08) It was deathly quiet, except for the electronic burps and beeps of the slots. The tables were populated by ugly folks, (none of the TV beauties) each frozen in place trying not to reveal their hand. I took one loop around the floor and back out the door. Just not my cup of tea.

Stopped in at Turtle Lake Casino up by St Croix Falls in Wis. Signed up for Players Club- They gave us each $5 and $5 voucher for dinner.
I was playing a penny machine, accidently hit Max Play and won $850 +.
The Casino ended up paying for Dinner and the trip!
Stopped at the Hole in the Wall Casino on the way to Hayward, signed up for Players club, got $5, went and played this slot machine called Miss Kitty. It kept rewarding me with free plays until I cashed it out at $650. Not bad for a penny machine, and their money!!

I don't gamble, but I love the Las Vegas casinos, just for the atmosphere. Spent one very romantic weekend with hubby many years ago at The Venitian...amazing what they did to the interior there. Hubby has been to the one in Macau (Asia) which is even bigger and more elaborate. I also enjoyed Paris Las Vegas.

And every now and then we do overnight for free in casinos in our RV. This is a fabulous resource:
