Just announced at the Grand Casino in Biloxi are the Monday thru Thursday lunch buffets- $12.82 for two. We ate there today and it was great!

Good luck,
We will be there next month and staying at Journeys End RV Park in Ocean Springs while visiting relatives in Vancleave. They sure do have good buffets. If my memory serves me right, The Grand Casino also has a killer Friday night buffet

Thanks for the info. We haven't been to Biloxi yet...is there a campground near the Grand Casino?

Sarah-

Yes, there are many campgrounds in the Biloxi area.
Just "Google" RV campgrounds in individual cities- IE:

- Biloxi, MS

- Gulfport, MS

- Ocean Springs, MS

- Long Beach, MS

Gulfport and Biloxi join each other and the 20 mile (or so) drive on "Beach Road" (Hwy 90) is spectacular. It starts at the bridge from Ocean Springs, MS and goes all the way (traveling West) across the bridge to Bay St Louis, MS. Spectacular pure white sand beaches are on the entire route. The remnants of hurricane "Katrina" can be seen all along this drive.

If your a shrimp lover, as I am, "The Palace Casino" is outstanding. Beautiful Jumbo Gulf Shrimp on a hugh mound of ice, and hot Spicy Shrimp await you. They also make "Mongolian Barbeque"- That's where you pick up a bowl and select your Veggies, garlic, ginger, etc and hand it to "Ann" for the final items, shrimp, beef, chicken or pork-or all four, if you wish. In five minutes you pick up a new bowl with your choices all grilled together- Yummy.

Byron, a friend of ours (a retired farmer from Iowa) sez "lets move our table right up against that pile of shrimp" Ha, Ha. He travels here from Foley, AL weekly to eat the shrimp! I started him coming over this season and he just smiles evertime I see him.

"Boom Town Casino" makes Banana Splits, if you have any room left after eating their buffet.

The one Casino in Gulfport, Island View Casino and Hotel, does not offer a Buffet Lunch Special.

Mardi Gras is just about to get into full swing for the January/February 2012 season.

The local "Who Dat" fans are quiter now since the "Saints" lost to the "49ers".

In case you missed it in a previous posting, the cost for the meals at the "Lunch Buffet" specials is $6.42 each- $6 for the meal and 7% tax = $6.42,or $12.84 for two folks.

Come on down and be prepared to add a few pounds on your visit.

Don't do the casinos much as far as gambling but we do enjoy the Buffets. My problem is to know when to STOP eating. I don't have alot of CCC with our ride so we have to adjust every time I climb back in. Last time the wife had to ask where her 75 pair of shoes were?

Casinos & RVing - That's the greatest. She loves the slots and I love loafing around the RV and walking the doggies and talking with other RVers. We are heading for Arzona Charlies in a few weeks. Been there before - really nice park and good buffet.

It seems in California there Is a casino every 20 miles. When I was younger the only place to go was Reno and lake Tahoe. I still wonder how they stay open with so many casinos around. Funny used to play cards now penny slots....awww retirement

I love poker and she loves slots. We are currently at Lucky Eagle Casino (I believe it is the only casino in Texas, at least with a Poker Room). We made the trip up from Mission, TX. Would not do it again. Used US83 out of Mission and there is lots of construction along the route. If you are going to make the trip out of Mission, better to go up US281, catch I35S back down to US83 and skip the Mission to I35 section. The casino is not bad, they are enlarging it right now, but only 1 poker table open on a Monday night.

Thanks for the info. We are relatively close to the Louisiana casinos (Coushatta, L'auberge in Lake Charles, etc.
