We are retired, we have an RV and we love to play penny slots, life doesn't get any better than that, we are blessed to be able to do this and we are grateful everyday. We were in a casino by Yuma last month and we had plenty of company of retired RV'ers. Love the casinos!!!

We will not be able to park at my cousins home this summer, so I checked for RV parking near. There is a state park three miles one way and the Tulalip Casino a short distance another way. The park will offer typical recreation, but the casino RV park has full-time security patrol. This appeals to me, as we will be away from the coach most of the time, whether at my cousins house or maybe at the casino, tho' gambling isn't of much interest.
Definitely worth considering in areas where typical RV accommodations are scarce (such as in our situation.)

They do have a nice RV Park. We see a few dry camping in their hugh parking lot off in the corners. If you can't find any deals just call the Lunch Buffet folks and get the word when the specials are available.
Just announced at the Grand Casino in Biloxi are the Monday thru Thursday lunch buffets- $12.82 for two. We ate there today and it was great!
Good luck,

Hey Max!! We are going back to the Hollywood Casino for the first week of April. Do you have any info on the buffets???

Hi Sarah--
As of this post, 3/22/12, the specials are as I posted earlier.
The Hollywood Lunch buffet (11- 2:30 pm) for seniors is $6/ea + 7% tax. Total for two is $12.84- Wednesdays and Fridays- with a players card. It's a great buffet-
We depart the area this Saturday heading home (NC) and then to Maine for the summer.
Enjoy your stay at the Hollywood, they have a real nice campground. Many rigs park in their hugh paved parking lots out to the left front of the hotel/casino. We see them there all winter long as they pass through enroute to other destinations. It's free for dry camping.
If you can make it to the "Palace Casino" (not the IP) in Biloxi on a Tuesday, or Thursday, they have an outstanding buffet. It's about a 25 mile drive from the "Hollywood" on "Beach Blvd" (Hwy 90). The Buffet is again, $6 each + Tax. Spicy, jumbo, boiled, peel your own shrimp, Mongolian Barbeque, Southern fried chicken, etc, etc. You'll see Ms Anne directing the traffic through the Mongolian BBQ, hug her and say "Hi" for me- she's a doll!
They also have two large lots on the West end of the Hotel/Casino complex for Busses and RV's. Again free dry camping. They are also the only non- smoking Casino on the coast.
Lets us know how it was--
Cheers, and good luck-

Thanks for the info, Max. We stayed at the Hollywood a couple of months ago but we didn't check out the buffet. This time, we WILL! I noticed a bunch of rigs in the Casino parking lot, but I thought they were waiting on campground spots to become available.

Too bad ( or good ) that you don't qualify for the senior discount. No cheating. We'll be watching.

Nugget Casino in Pahrump has half price senior buffets every day except Friday (which makes it $5.00/person). Palms Casino in Vegas has half price buffet for seniors on Thursdays and the Silverton has half price for seniors on Mondays. Palms has excellent food -- Silverton's was good, but expect to stand in line 45-60 minutes to get in.

Have you stayed at the Preferred RV Resort next to the Nugget? Plan to be there next month. Thanks.

WHen I was last in Vegas we had many free breakfasts at Bolder Station.
I'd drop a dollar on a Keno card at the table and by the time I left usually have more money in my pocket than I came in with.. Breakfast included, Best day I walked out 40 dollars to the good.
Key to winning... Don't try to break the bank, And don't loose more than you can afford.

Don't pretend that AARP hasn't been trying to recruit you for the past 2 years.
