Cat Food

I'm looking to buy cat food in bulk. I'm looking at buying 1,000 to 5,000 pounds at one time. Does anyone know of any companies in the U.S. that sells it?

Call your local humane society and ask, if anyone knows they should.

Actually any of the big pet stores (Pet-supplies plus, Pet-Smart) can do it.. And if you check the yellow pages you may well find a "Feed Store" or two listed too.. Those are a bit farther between however.

One caution.. That stuff does have a shelf life.

For Dog food I used to work for a supplier for one factory.. That's in Battle Creek, MI.. Ralston Purina. (DOG COW) Do not know if they do cat chow there or not.

My only question is how many CATS do you have? And how BIG are they?

Let's just say this animal eats a lot of cat food. I'm still looking for some help.

If you would look on the internet, you would likely find the answer. An RV newsgroup is far less likely to provide cat food information as a pet forum would for where to find RV supplies.

A small town co op will work with you. May want you to pay up front with they order that amount.

That's what I was thinking also. My father in-law had a hobby farm with a small herd of Angus, we would buy feed for them at the co-op and I know they also carried pet food in large bags, you could purchase large quantities .
