chase the 70 degree line

I have always thought that i want to chase the 70 degree line up and down the country. This youtube video shows where the average temp is 70 for each period in the year. Will be invaluable in my travel planning.

I hope you can tolerate temperatures outside of 70, because with climate change temperatures vary greatly from past historical averages. I'd also question your reasoning for 'chasing' the 70 average, do you have a particular insect or plant in mind that is present at that temperature?

Bob, maybe he has a Winnebago and has given up on finding someone to work on his basement air.

It just struck me that the timing of the 70 temperature matches the hatching out of black flies in WI, MN, and the Adirondack Mtns. In my backpacking days, I quickly learned those were not times I wanted to be in those regions.

rickinama: Travel in more temperate areas will still be possible even with climate change. ice ages and insects. Use your charts and a thermometer and enjoy.. novel idea.

Thank you! This is interesting. I've been looking for a similar video of the ice in and ice out of lakes in the USA.
