I remember .91 a gallon gas in the early '90's... I'm only 34 years old and often find myself wondering what happened??

Diesel was 10-20 cents cheaper at the time, and I'm appalled at the fact that it's now the same as premium gasoline and four times the cost!!

Off rant now... I remember back when my grandpa would stop at the Husky station, fill up with "regular", buy a bag of pink popcorn (diabetes in a bag), 6 pack of RC Cola (blue beer for me) on the way to get firewood.

Back during the so called Arab oil embargo of the 70's I had to hunt for a gas station that had gas and had to pay the outragous price of .99 / gal.
