Christmas Holiday Season & Snowbirding in Full Swing

This is our first Snowbird Season, our first workcamping experience, and although we have RV'ed for over 40 years and have had 4-5 month extended trips, somehow this one is really different.

Being away from kids and grand kids, although we have met several snowbirds who are flying home for Christmas we are not as we are work camping and also have a small dog and that limits us to travel from here.

No complaints, we are having a blast, decorated the Motorhome with Christmas decorations inside and out and meeting a lot of really fun, friendly folks, learning new card games, and enjoy music jams in our park. This week we have two dances and I must say the level of talent they have brought in exceeds my expectations.

The only down side is our weather has not fully co-operated but could be worse and we are missing the coastal experiences in Florida.

Welcome to RGV again.
As this is the Birding Capital of the word, we get many. But the Snowbird is not one of them, down here we are all Winter Texans. You will see and feel that all over the Valley.
