Chuy’s Taqueria - Winters Ca - June 2016

While visiting Winters, Ca on our last trip, we discovered the BEST Mexican restaurant!!
Chuy’s Taqueria on Railroad ave, in Winters Quaint Historic Downtown.

Interesting. We are long time lovers of a Austin homegrown chain called Chuy's Tex Mex. It has spread to other areas of Texas and the country, but doesn't appear to be related to your Chuys. There is another Chuy's in Van Horn, Texas, no relation. They claim to be the original since 1955. Still not the same. Their claim to fame is that it is a favorite stop for John Madden on his bus, since he doesn't fly when he travels.
