ROFLMBO..... As my grandson would say "you da man! RetiredFPD"

Perhaps some day when all of us old geezers, who remembers America the way it use to be, are dead and buried, everyone will happy. They can take their one pill a day for substanance (Soylent Green comes to mind here) and live in the new Amerika. Until that time, it's my life and my body and I'll do what I want with it. If I want to stick a cigar in my CPAP, it's none of your damn business.

Why did my my paternal grandfather live to be 93 years old and smoked 3 packs of Lucky Strikes for 75 years, while my maternal grandmother and my mother died in their 40's of lung cancer and never smoked a day in their lives? It's genetics folks and just a roll of the dice.

WOW, am awfull lot of hostility in this thread.

Wouldn't it have been simple to adjourn to your coach to finish your cigars?

That's gotta hurt, especially if the humidor is anywhere near the sacroiliac...

Get well soon!

It's a matter of principles. Yes the approach can make a difference to a certain extent. However, it is anyone's right to smoke in their paid campsite. No one has a right to impose their desires on anyone who is doing nothing illegal or against the rules on their own property.

If they do, they are being self serving and inconsiderate. If your desire conflicts with anyone exercising their rights, then it's up to you to make the changes to fulfill your desires.

The easy route is of course to have the person give up their rights to fulfill your desires. As you've read here, that may or may not work.

I consider the asking a very lazy alternative to doing what is right, and that is putting youself in a position that fulfills your desires, rather than intruding on a neighbors rights.

I hope this clarifies things a bit. I am not some uncaring hard ash by any strech, but right is right and wrong is wrong.

If you like campfires and your neighbor said they don't like campfire smoke and asked you to not have them any more, what would you do?

Again, secondhand smoke can kill even better than those that smoke themselves. What a shame...

Good one, Francesca! I count on you for that.
It is somewhat near my sacorilliac when I sit on the dinette. :-)
Its under the seat, protected from the heat. I'm a puffer, not a poofter!

Apparently some would take their campfire inside their Motorhome. S'mores anyone.

Is that a Trivial Pursuit clue or a medical condition?...

Be happy. No worries. Nothing more to say if no one is able to listen to reason.
