I've seen that Coach before. He can't get it under any bridges on US interstates, but he can drive over them anywhere with those Rockwell axles under it.

I'll shoot some pictures of the fuel pump access door to share with you guys. Should mean never having to drop a full tank of fuel again just to change the pump out again.

Shawn - You can count on it. Didn't mean to imply you couldn't, but nothing like help to get you motivated and make short work of a project.

Frank - I agree. I'm not exactly short but I still don't like making a huge step up in one move. Would have to make a new one that has 4 steps for that height. The minute I saw that rig I thought of Curtis and Shawn. Like me they like 4x4's.

Years ago I had the idea to take a 64 Chevy II Nova wagon and drop it on a K5 Blazer chassis. Wheelbase is only off by an inch. Never could find a usable body that wasn't stupid money.

I've been wanting an Isuzu FSS 4x4 delivery true know to convert into an expedition motor home But haven't found one I could justify laying out that kind of cash for. Because I'd still have to built the RV box. But the cool part is I could easily convert the Tommy Lift to haul my big motorcycle on.

Found a snorkel for my 22 year old Rodeo the other day for $100 so I bought it. They use to sell for $400 plus shipping so it was a heck I found a deal. After I get the front differential rebuilt again I'll install it.

Have you considered putting stronger axles under that thing? You'd be hard pressed to break a 44 off 66 with that rig no matter what you did.

It lasted 10 years of hard wheeling. Oh and BTY it's a Toyota Straight axle with all the cryo axles and everything hardened and supersized in it. The R&P chipped a tooth on a downhill dropoff. I blame the guy who set it up. He used a crush sleeve solely, rather than crush the sleeve, dissasemble, measure the sleeve and cut a solid sleeve and install it. That's what I paid him to do, but he didn't! And I didn't check it before installing them..

So, when I stepped off the ledge it crushed the sleeve even more and that set it up sloppy. He did the same thing to the Dana 44 in the rear too when I paid him to set it up. And that solid sleeve is how we solved that one after I broke it later.

I do have a Dana 44 for a replacement of the Toy front axle. but it doesn't have an ARB in it, or cryo axles etc... so I'm not going to use it until I free up some money to bullitt proof the 44.

The only part of the Running gear that isn't hard core Toyota is the Isuzu Engine. Even the clutch is Genuine Ford Racing Parts!

And at this stage in my life I'm not going to be bashing and trashing my equipment like I did when I had a high level of disposable income.

But, I do have other 4 X 4 equipment to massacree!!!!!!

Great for additional hang up closet space, or wet bathing suits or towels...

Did that with the Dutch Star, but mainly for hanging wet clothing so it could drip and not ruin anything. We do get some rain here in the great Northwet! (Yes, I know Northwest has a "s" in it)

I had the pleasure of meeting Bobby (and Tina) Long when I picked up my FToy chassis at their place when their buddy Odie hauled it north from California. Super super guy he was.

And at this stage in my life I'm not going to be bashing and trashing my equipment like I did when I had a high level of disposable income.

But, I do have other 4 X 4 equipment to massacree!!!!!!

4 years ago after being about 12' airborne and landing on flat ground. Destroyed the TG trunnion bearings. Stick with Koyos.

I'd like to think I'm smarter now in my 40's.

Well it's like I always say, " It only cost a little more to go first class, but with my budget I just can't stay as long"!

Yep, the front Toy Axle has all the $gooder$ stuff in it!

But so does the rear Dana. It is the only Full Floating Isuzu Dana 44 in the World, and it has all the goodies in it too! The cool part about these Isuzu rear Dana's is they have two brakes systems on them. One set of drum and shoe brakes and monster disc brake calipers. I had to custom turn the bearing flanges off and machine an adapter to fit on the end brake brackets to convert them to the Warn Full Floater kit. Oh and the Warn Kit hubs only came in 5 bolt jeep bolt pattern so I had to convert them to 6 X 5.5 for the Toy / Isuzu wheels.
I had Mosier make the axles custom. (4 of them in case I ever break one)
So far so good. I did twist one a little once. Like I said I wheel hard. Or used to!

Just coming in from the shop now. I got the fuel tank back under the Rodeo. What a wrestling match by myself. Told Melissa I'd be in at 10 PM but got a wild hair and decided to drill the left front fender out for a snorkel.

After all I had that darn snorkel laying on the bench for almost a week. (It was a Warehouse Closeout that I bought cheap)
Just couldn't let it alone!

Tomorrow night I'll bolt the factory air cleaner to it and seal it all up in case I want to do more river crossings. (BTY, the diffs and transmissions all breath out of the top of the A and C pillars now. Plus the ECM is mounted in the roof under the roll cage. We've had water crossings up to the doors in it before. About 3.5 feet of water! Not that I want to ruin my carpet, but if I had too!!!!!

MT, I remember you posting that RV picture way back when. I've got it saved in my computer somewhere as a joke.

I always wanted to build a F1 Toy using Isuzu running gear, but just never broke down and let go of the cash for the frame.

But I've got a Topless 86 Trooper Turbo Diesel that's almost a F1 Toy. Not much body left on it. It's been through the ringer. but the engine still runs good.

Thinking of putting its TD engine and a NEW MUA5.It has Tera Lows that we put in the transmission right after I got it Want to put them into another 86 2 door Trooper I have out there. Thinking I want to build a Japanese Land Rover Defender out of it.

Oh well all it takes is time and money!
I'm pooped, gonna call it a night and sleep in.
