CLAC (Can't Leave it Alone Club)

Hey Curtis in TX, I understand.

My DW loves me but either her eyes roll or they just go blank every time I try and explain my latest ideas.

She knows that for every hundred projects I might have planned, I'll probably only actually complete one. But hey, it'll be a darn good one!

She says than I'm kinda slow in getting it all done so I have to remind her that a guy's got to have time to cogitate before tackling something new, otherwise it won't get done right. And all the guys said, "Amen!"

Another amen here.

I say it takes far less time to think the project through and do it right the first time than it does to do it twice. Cheaper too.

Gotta think it up, make a plan, sometimes toss it around with other CLACers, discuss a few what if's, revise the plan if need be then go at it.

That said there is so much talent in this thread you could drop us off in a scrap yard, give us a little time and some tools and we might just land a probe on the moon. OK, maybe thats a stretch, but not by much.

Jay,
I would just bet that it could be done, might have to buy some computer equipment and rocket fuel, but that would be about all.

I've got to be a charter member of this club. My biggest project was adding hydraulic jacks to my old class C. But we are on our 3rd RV. By the time we traded our first two, they didn't look anything like they did when we first got them. Everything I did added to the resale for sure.

I can't help it, I have to do it. Maybe we should start out by saying, my name is ________, and I'm a can't leave it alone aholic.

Yes, you fit right in. The last line almost made me spit my drink all over the screen. Welcome to the club.

ronspradley I could not agree more about cheap beer. Or cheap scotch. Or cheap cigars.

Jay, All you had to do was mention a space probe and Frank starts thinking what we need . That's how it all starts .

Terry if anyone here didn't I would have to question their membership. As soon as I typed it I started thinking about the engine build.

NASA has nothing on us, except maybe money. Saying that I do believe that we would beat them on ingenuity.
