It seems as if every small town in the USA has a quilt shop and I've learned that "I'm going to the quilt shop to get a few things" is sort of like going to an RV store, there's a "minimum purchase" requirement of ~$50! LOL An increasing number of quilt shops are putting in comfy chairs and magazines for husbands; I haven't yet seen a coffee bar in one, but I'm sure I will eventually.

Cool! Is that a slide and how much weight do think you have in there over the weight of the love seat?

The sewing center does not sit in a slide. The lounge it replaced was a flexsteel and was very heavy. The wood sewing center is lighter than the lounge when empty but probably is somewhat heavier when all drawers, sewing machines, and other accesories are loaded. But I doubt it is significantly heavier.

By the way, my wife is also a knitter as evidenced by the baskets of yarn in the picture.

Oh, and guys, if you want to see all of the quilt shops in the country, get your wife a copy of the Quilters Companion.

My wife goes to this every year. She entered her "Crystal Blue Persuasion" last year.
It's at the bottom of this page. International Quilt Association

That's her in the outfit doing her rendition of "Mystery Science Theater"

She didn't marry well.

And this is now when finished will give you an updated picture and yes it is in the big slide out ,already considered the weight issue, that is absolutly no prob when you figure on the average, there might be 4 people at i figured low at 110 ibs sitting in it
and my wife usually carried 2 cases of canned goods in storage under seats or even 2 people at 145 and 2 cases of canned goods plus the couch of 3 people in big slide just won't put cases of food under and wont have 4 people or even 2 heavier people there
used ponderosa pine and trim is light weight, when weighed every thing there was 150 pound difference with machine set up and 2 light bens for her sewing supplies would be lighter this way. so were good . have stained and varnished it shes setting it up today so when done will post setup and what it looks like.

It looks really good to me. That's a great set-up. You probably weren't using that uncomfortable sofa thing anyway.
