Around here when it was -54 in Embarass, the temp inside my house was 104* WARMER that outside. My house thermostat was set on 70*. Last week we had some highs in the upper 40s. The joys of winter!!

Hey, Minnesotans!! Nice to read your posts about the ol home state. We sold home and stuff in Duluth in 05 and hit the road. Funny thing though...I used to love puttin on the old Finnlander Tennis Shoes, the parka, the choppers and get out to shovel the sidewalk and driveway...even in 20 to 30 below temps. NOW...these doggoned 16-17 degree night time temps here in the Benson, Arizona area are WAY to cold!! These temps in February used to be a heat wave back in Duluth!! Guess just one or two winters here and in Florida are pretty easy to get used to...eh?? Think we'll stay SOUTH for the winters anyway. Steve & Lynette

Hello Steve and Lynette, last Saturday was awful. I didn't even go outside and it had to be worse for j2detoit (eh? )

It's a balmy 14 above right now with no wind and light snow.

I got a good laugh on the Finnlander tennis shoes. (People I knew in Duluth were Tom Evans hospital admin, Frank Lundberg
electrician, Jerry Parsons lodge owner gunflint trail to name a few)

Cheers
