It was a great day to be a Husker fan. First I get to watch Miami forced to play during a blizzard, and get beat. Then I get to watch Nebraska play quite well against a good UCLA team and get the win. It doesn't get much better than that, people!

We were a 5-7 team that was invited to California to play a very good team in a bowl game.
We needed to show up.
Someone must have handed Riley an Osborne or Devaney play book and we played like Nebraska of old.
It was a great day to be a Cornhusker fan!

Very even first half, and then the flood gates opened. Coker had the best game of his life (until 11 Jan) and it was fun to watch the shutout.

It will be a good game. they got Alabama 7 up on Clemson as of right now. I don't know about all that, but if Alabama does get beat accidentally , I guess I could handle it that Clemson was the one that got lucky. Them some good ole boys, I can handle that.
