No question about the outcome. Classic "Hail Mary".
You lose.
Oh, and my Noles Roll.

Ouch, that REALLY hurt. Two weird points about that game:
1. That Hail Mary play took place almost at exactly the same place on the field that Nebraska did the same thing 2 years ago against Northwestern, even the receiver catching it in front of the goal line and falling back into the zone.
2. Th qb's that threw both passes were both backups and had the same #12.
What I want to know is why the clock operator left a second on the clock to give the Coogs one more play! Didn't NU learn anything from the Big XII title game in 2009!?!?

What size do you need, Sam? I can send you one of my 35 NU shirts.

Thanks for the offer Jeff, but I'll find something tomorrow. Outlet mall had zero N apparel.
Forecasted 93 degrees for 7:30PM kickoff.

Yes Sam, I was starting to believe we would have to endure another "Hail Mary" pass at the end, just what my heart did not need!
WReeder, your rig looks good. Does it have a tiger tail hanging off the back end? I still have great memories of mixing with the Clemson fans at the 1982 Orange Bowl game for the national title. Dang, I still don't know how the Huskers lost that game! Good luck against those Irish this week.

We miss ole Danny Ford from Clemson. Dooley and Ford had some great battles way back when.
Go Dogs! We play Between the Hedges tomorrow, rain (likely) or shine

Looks like your dad had a great time. I was in college when I attended that Orange Bowl. I and a friend organized the trip in his old used school passenger Chevy van with 200,000 miles on it. There were 13 of us in this 12 passenger van, with the 13th person sitting on the beer cooler. Three of us were the designated drivers, drove straight thru from snowy Lincoln to Orlando in 24 hours. Every time we stopped for fuel or bathrooms, they would roll open the sliding side door and a couple dozen empty beer cans would spill out of the van. To this day I believe it is miraculous that we all made it back to Lincoln in one piece. Good times
