Costs, wow

Once we bought the Winnie in February, it seems the costs just keep coming. High def flat screen $400.00, new toad gmc terrain $32,000.00 ( could of been cheaper but I wanted bells and whistles) , tow bar brake system $4,000.00, stow a way bar for toad guard $100.00 , stock the bar $200.00, good times and memories to be made priceless!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't that the truth!! Wife hasn't been feeling good (still doesn't). So far they (kind of) have ruled out Liver or Pancreatic cancer. Her mother died of that cancer in her 60's (my wife is 64).
Been thinking abou all we would miss out on if they misdiagnosed her!!

In 1999 I had 6 surgeries I was touch and go for quite a while, 2006 I got encephalitis spent 9 days in a comma, they told my DW to make funeral arrangements (she didn't, just prayed harder), I will keep going and enjoying life what ever the cost. You only live once, you may as well live it to its fullest.

Amen! Life is too short, you can't take your money with you and the kids would just blow through it anyway, so get out and enjoy everything while you are still able. None of us know what tomorrow will bring.

Mr_D, I will send some prayers for your wife. Hope she gets well real soon.

My wife and I are both 40, well she will be in July, and people look at us kinda funny when we tell them we own a motorhome and love RV'ing and we REALLY skew the median age when we camp in an RV Park!

But we both love traveling in our RV and we love meeting new people, no matter how young or young at heart, and we didn't want to wait until we were retired as you just never know what might happen...is it expensive, yep, is it worth it...every penny!

DW and I are mid thirties and we both enjoy getting out as much as possible in the RV. Can't rewind time to make memories like the ones we have with our kids while they are still young. Sure is expensive but as long as the bills are covered and food is on the table we will enjoy this time to the fullest.

Well they may be a bit costly but I don't think we would have it any other way. Traveled at first and stayed at motels and the like, NAH, we like sleeping in our own bed and cooking our own meals most of the time. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Only money is right. We leave tommorow for a week plus, with no one to really watch the store.
Don't care.

Dw suggested that when out 8th grader is done with school end of may we head towrd utah. Last time I brought it up, she denied saying it. Tough. Bus rolls west may 22... if she's on it great, if nit I'll take me dog.

Before I retired , I sold an expensive luxury item. Whenever I had clients that couldn't decide to spend this amount , I asked them. How much do you want to leave to your rotten kids? We all smiled and then they wrote the check.
