My sister-in-law who lives in Pend Oreille Co., WA facebooked me last night saying she had a full grown cougar walk in front of her in her driveway. Hopefully in her car. She did not say what time of night but they live in a very rural logging community and have had cougar troubles before.

I like wildlife but prefer the ones that eat vegatation and run into the front of your car or under your tires and die. But I have on occasion stayed at my sister-in-law's houses where I have let small pets out hoping for their demise by some wild creature.

You can ignore it.

Hopefully this is a troll post. You can't honestly be this heartless?

Sorry if I sounded heartless, which I am not. Just don't like the thought of being part of the food chain when I am anywhere nor do I like it when my sister-in-law finds it no problem to let her hairy cat sleep on our pillows. In fact, I may have no option other then to make chicken dinner out of a rooster I thought was a hen if I don't find "him" a home. My motto is "everything dies naturally even though we could have eaten it."

I've seen a few in the last few years. There have been upwards of six cougar sightings in and around Port Alberni so far this year and none of the cougars frequent bars. Lots of deer and bear about too.
