Crazy doctors!
I don't know about these young whippersnapper doctors and their stupid questions! I went to my urologist for my yearly checkup and he wanted to know if I was having any problems with reptile dysfunction! I told him I have two turtles and a snake and they're all doing fine!

When I went to my urologist for my annual prostate exam I was asked four times for my birthdate so they could be sure it was me. Now I'm really curious about how many identity thieves are out there taking someone's prostate exam. I'd gladly let them take mine.

They just wanted to make sure they had the right person to send the bill. Did they ask for your mailing address as well?

Oh they have my name, address, social security number, cell phone number, home phone number, wife's cell phone number, business address, business phone number, health insurance number, my height and weight, and my blood type. Between the privacy issues and every doctor now seems to be part of a mega group health care seems to be getting more like health could care less.

My mother who lives in FL had her identity stolen through a medical provider. Seems to be a major source of identity theft in FL. They filed a bogus tax return that was so out of whack to her normal return, the IRS caught it.
However, it also screwed up her SS check that took about 8 months to get resolved. Feel free to push back on giving anyone your SS#, particularly a medical provider as they really do not need it for anything.
Glad to know Joe's reptiles are doing well.........  . Vets have the pet guilt money grab game down pat these days.

On a physical a few years near the end when the doctor was leaving the room he said "you're as fit as a horse" then paused at the door and added "An old horse". I've been visiting him for some 15 years now and his humor is appreciated.

Only because you've got health insurance. Most things for my dog would have cost 10x for me, except maybe neutering because he had one ball that didn't drop and that cost extra.
