OK, If five machines can make five widgets in five minutes,
how long does it take 100 machines to make 100 widgets?

"If five machines can make five widgets in five minutes", then each machine is making one widget in five minutes. So, it takes five minutes.

Right?

To make 100 widgets? 1 widget a minute = 100 minutes to make 100 widgets.

CLUE!

This test is easier to "pass" if one understands that it's not a "critical thinking" test but a reading comprehension test!

And on that subject:

I'm truly amazed how many folks accept that Moses was on the Ark, that one can bury a "living" subject, that any multiple of zero can be more than zero, and etc...

" Oh Lord it's hard to be humble
When you're perfect in every way.
I can't wait to look in the mirror

'cos I get better looking each day
To know me is to love me

I must be a hell of a man.
O Lord it's hard to be humble
But I'm doing the best that I can."
Mac Davis song

my favorite song, as it is so apropos to me.

For question #4, can a man living in U.S. be buried in Ireland? Saw a nature show once that said parts of the land on east coast are exact same material as some parts of Ireland, so my response is yes. Didn't say needed to be living or not.

I can't stand it anymore...

Read the words, folks!!!!! The trick is right there..." 30 divided by 1/2" is not the same thing as 30 divided by 2!!!!

The answer is 70. When you divide a number by a fraction, you actually multiply by its reciprocal or inverse.

"30 divided by 1/2 plus 10" becomes

30/(1/2) + 10
30 x 2 +10 = 70
