Destructed Jeans

I just saw an ad for what they call destructed jeans or destroyed denim. Never knew it had a name.

Funny, I just thought you called them holes in your pants, and you ask mom to patch them.

Silly me, you get to pay extra to have your jeans be ripped before even wear them.

Another thought… If you told kids they had to wear uniform they would revolt. Look around they are already wearing a uniform and we call it jeans and T-shirts

Those destructed jeans are very expensive and parents buy them for the kids. Every hole or tear makes them more expensive. When I get a hole in my jeans, I throw them away and go to Wal-Mart and buy another $18.00 pair, not young people today..

You should bring the old pair back to Walmart. They should be worth two of the replacement jeans!

Sell them at a carport sale, old jeans bring top dollar. Have SIL that hits sales weekly for antique business and reports people fighting over them at some sales.

I just threw away a pair of Walmart shorts that self-destructed when I bent over. They were almost new, and now I learn that I may have tossed something very valuable.

If anyone wants this type jeans without the price, buy new ones- the brand you prefer, send them to me, DW or I will wear them until they are "destructed" then mail them back to you. No charge.

It's only the real old ones that are worth anything. Like ones from the 30's, through the 70's. Now I wish I had not thrown mine out also......

Back in the day it was Levi's, my grandmother said you have a tag on your pants and tried to pull it off.
