We named ours "Hooper". When we bought it, in Maryland, it had a big red crab on the door (see my avatar), so we named it after Hooper's, a popular crabhouse and bar in Ocean City MD.

We named ours...Baby Hewie. The letters "HEW" are on the license plate. I say hello and goodbye to "him" with a pat on the dash for good luck. So far "he" has been great for us.

My first motor home, a 1981 model was named the Time Machine by some friends. My parents named the next one the Bubba Hilton. We got the last one and they named it the Bubba Ritz. I have a license plate to prove it.

LOL!! It's actually a SportsCoach CrossCountry made by Coachman. It's kind of funny that in my searches I've found newer SportsCoach models looking just like the originals and can only assume two companies were making two different forms of these at the same time!

John Galt, from Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged. My favorite book ever. All politicians should be required to read it.

The first RV we owned was named MFH, Motor Home From Hell.
On our first trip it broke down on us cost almost as much as we paid for it to get it repaired to get home...much less having to stay in at the repair shop for 5 days while the repaired it. (having to call family to send us more money).
We had spent several thousand dollars having it gone thru before we left on that ill fated trip.
I think now if we would have had any idea what it was going to cost us to get it repaired so we could get it home, we would have rented a U-Haul truck and signed the title and left it in a Wal-Mart Parking lot.

No I did not give my RV a name. I would be curious if those who give the RV a name also give Birthday presents and hugs to the RV. Just wondering?

For her first birthday the dealer gave her a brand new black water tank. Don't know how much hugging there was, but I'm sure there was some cursing going on.
