We're headed to Fresno in two weeks, then over to Phoenix for the Good Sam rally, great timing! Our tank holds 150 gallons and I'll fill up on OR and then in AZ. Hopefully skip buying any in CA!

Ditto: Dealing with the doubling of our vehicle registrations, My mh was 1800 for two years, now Brown wants to increase taxes again, and dealing with the Calif DMV for over a year and a half to fix the registration on an 07 H3, then getting a fix it ticket from the calif chp, ( and never a ticket in 46 years), I am at my wits end. And the file I have to resolve this issue is literally one inch thick.

And in my local small community our local government would not allow us to use banners or to use air inflated devices to bring attention to our business but allow folks to hold signs and jump up and down until we finally closed that little marginal revenue shop ( supporting two employees), I cannot wait to leave my home state and hope for a very nice earthquake or a good tsunami so we the people can take our state back.

I am a native and love California. I suppose I will get banned from here so to all my great friends. I might have to say goodby.

Sometimes we need to vent. At $5 a gallon and a family that is in the oil exploration industry. I can tell you this is absolutely a political rip off. I could fix this in a week.

That's really good, isn't it? The US taxpayers, subsidized the oil companies, bailed out the Wall Steet speculators, and now their going to gouge us at the pump too! It might help, if we stopped exporting oil too.

When Memorial Day weekend comes and towns that rely on tourists find out the tourist are staying home and these towns are losing money maybe the price of fuel will come down.
Not sure what the answer is with gas prices being so high. I do know that high gas prices will continue to hurt the economy.

Looks like my trip to the Phoenix Good Sam rally will definitely avoid California. Nevada should be a little bit better. Fuel prices bad everywhere though. Paid $3.89 in Oregon a week ago. Four hours later, the same station was at $4.09.

I bought diesel fuel for my car all winter at $1.26 to $1.29 per liter. Read $4.85 per US gallon. Canadian - US dollar almost at par (.98 cents).
