Direct tv and fox network

Fox has blocked direct tv from their channels in certain areas.
Guess who can't watch the race today? What a bunch of BS. Anybody have a short term solution?

I think you have that backwards.. Direct TV blocked Fox. Is the race you are talking about on pay-for-view on one of the other channels on Direct TV? If so Direct TV want you to pay to see the race. JMO

It is actually on my local FOX channel but I am on Direct tv with no antenna. Fox and
Direct went through this about 8 months ago and got it resolved. It is not Fox itself
but two corps that handle their transmissions Going over to neighbors to watch it on ATT

If you have directv, go to channels 795 through 799 ( I think) and you can watch broadcast through in car camera and network view

Actually it is Tribune and DTV that are fighting over payments for broadcasting the Tribune owned stations. DTV claims a handshake agreement two days ago. Tribune is saying pay us what we want or don't rebroadcast our stuff. Fox channels are on DTV in central Florida.

Hmmm.. We had the NASCAR race on at least two channels with DirectTV service. One was a local station and the other was on Speed (607).

Yep, it's Tribune, NOT FOX.
IMO Tribune can go pound sand. There's nothing on there anymore

Good suggestion, Works great, NOTE you may not need a converter, Modern DirecTV receivers have a ATSC digital receiver built in.

Fox is the joker in the deck, Back when DishNetwork had it's problems withi Distant Neteork Service, Dish reached agreement with everyone, Save FOX, Fox was the one who held out. Had fox settled, since it was a civil suit, the judge would never have issued a ruling/injunction.

But fox held out, at the time many thought it was because of common stockhnolders between Fox and DirecTV, But IT appears it's just Fox being Fox cause now they are messing with Direct.
