DO RV shows have camping items or just RVs

Hi All,

Hope you are having a great day! Went to an RV show in Novi, MI this weekend and was surprised by the lack of camping type items. I was looking forward to seeing what was out there, such as grills, tables that fold, cooking items, but this had very little.

Is this normal or does this stuff come out mostly in the spring? Some good prices on the RVs, but not ready to buy till next summer. Will they have the same prices in the Spring at an RV show or is that mostly fall shows?

Please let me know and enjoy your day! Lynne

I am including a link listing the shows we are thinking of attending. Once you click on a show, there are buttons to click to see what vendors will be attending, and what products they will be displaying. Every major show we have attended had LOTS and LOTS of the items you are looking for! Good luck, maybe we will see you at one of the shows. We are closest to the Denver show.

Thanks Firebug5,

Thank you for the information. We live in Michigan so Denver is pretty far away for us. Hadn't known about the vendor section so will give that a try. We also wanted to go to a factory before we buy to see how MHs are made.

Yea Beamisl... that's been our experience too. I think there's a lost opportunity here for camping retailers. Lots of us just like to browse the new & used rigs at these shows, and would equally love to browse for camping gear too!
