Do you believe in ghosts ?
So my high school buddy who I haven't seen in many years has decided to come out from FL and visit me this summer.
The neat thing about this guy is he's funny, loves to have a good time, likes watching baseball games....
....and is a ghost hunter.
He plans on staying in one of the most haunted hotels in Virginia City, NV, which is less than an hour from my house. There are MANY written accounts of ghost sightings and other paranormal activity in this one hotel, and he goes ahead and books a room with 2 beds, one for him and one for me (my g/f, who BELIEVES in ghosts, doesn't want anything to do with us).
Now I can't rightly say that I've seen a ghost, but on the other hand, I've been watching a lot of Ghost Adventures, a cable TV show that documents many haunted places, so I can't really positively say that they don't really exist.
Should I be worried ??

Both my daughter and I have seen 'something' walking in the hall at night. In addition, I awoke the other night hearing noises and thinking that my daughter was home, I said so to the wife. I then saw lights in her bedroom and flashing in the hall. I got up and looked and there was no sign of her and the hubbub ended. I said 'goodbye' and went back to bed.
Such odd happenings have occurred 5-6 times before. I just shrug it off now.
Oh, we call him Casper!
BTW, I am 69 YO and a physicist by one former trade.

Never seen one yet, but keep an open mind to the possibility of such critters.

We see God at all times, you just have to realize that is what you are seeing. . Ghosts? Magnetic fields, crop circles? Who knows

ghosts YES
We had to put our golden retriever down after 15 years with us. It was tough to say the least.
Well about 2 weeks later we found a piece of dog food in the living room on the rug he laid on. OK...... 2 days later same thing close to the same place. same rug just other end. ok i told my wife enough of the games.... she said it was not her.
well she went on an over night trip for work and when i came home there was an old tennis ball in the middle of the garage. he waas never with out one in his mouth or at least close by. My wife was not home, so i KNOW it was not her and it is just the 2 of us....So yup i do think there are ghosts, just not all bad ones.

I'd love for him to come stay at our house awhile! We haven't seen anything but have had some unusual unexplainable things happening in the house both while we are here and while we are gone!
