Congrats! I believe the White Mtns Of AZ are one of America's secret gems of livability. (Enjoy, but don't spread the news too much, we don't want the region over-run and ruined.)

A lot of this topic depends on how susceptable a person is to allergies. I grew up in rural Nebraska and developed allergies to the pollens prevalent there. Treatments by a allergist cured me after a couple years of injections. After I moved to central AZ at age 30, within 2 yrs I developed allergies to the local flora here, such as olive. Back to the allergist I went and was fine after a couple of years. If I would ever move elsewhere, the same thing would prolly happen. So I think I'll stay put, which is fine by me because I love the AZ
