I know what you folks are talking about. Dorothy and I live in one of the most beautiful places but we still enjoy getting on the road and seeing America. My Dad once asked me why we like to RV when we live where we do and my reply -- "Our home doesn't go anywhere. It just sets there!" Also, we find that we have a lot of obligations at home that go away when we travel.

Yes I feel younger it is nice to have a campfire or walk around a park talking to other campers.When it is time to travel and I decide as I travel alone so I can go anytime!!! So you are not alone!! enjoy when you go
Let me see. This year, so far, we have managed to use the MH a minimum of 2 times each month, April we drove to Las Vegas (home base Florida), July to Conn, this months two separate trips to North Carolina, Dec is at least one trip to the keys, ah.... yep, we sure do enjoy traveling this beautiful country and meeting some wonderful folks along the way. Life is great folks....smile
Have to agree, there's no place like out on the road visiting new places or seeing others we enjoyed before. Home is a wonderful place but, man, I miss spending the night in our TT, waking up to a good fire, taking a new walk, and so on...

While the DW and I are not full timers we definatly know the feeling We have our camper parked at a perminant site and spend every weekend there It is the highlite of our week and summer Unfortuntly this upcoming weekend is our last one until next May but its been a great campin season and we are already looking forward to next year
Also glad to know I'm not the only one to get into a blue funk when I get home. So far this year I've been a Park Service volunteer on San Juan Island (off the Washington Coast), Forest Service vol in Idaho, and I camp-hosted for the state at a reservoir in Utah this summer, and just got back from an FMCA ramble in New Mexico -- and I'm itching to leave again!!
is just different every time I wake up in a different place...and life seems much more enjoyable the rest of the day...
