I love to disagree with this statement....

Congress is the BIGGEST Money Spenders in the US.... And it is all your and Future generations taxes they are wasting.

The Military does not get half the money they should, and the people that spend their life/career defending us should be much better treated than they are..

I looked at the percentages; then compared that to what people posted about how many questions they missed;
I think someone is not being real truthfull here.
Computers don't lie.
Anyone streching the truth; ? I didn't miss any; and the world is flat.

Hmm, why would you think the posters here were untruthful?

Older Americans in general are better educated and better informed than younger generations. Do you have teenage or 20something kids in your life? Ask them a question- any question-that isn't about popular culture, and you will see a blank why-would-I-know-or-care expression. All thoughts they have appear to be pre-digested pap and in the form of tweets.

Sorry, sorry, I know there are great, bright kids out there- thank God!

11 out of 11 here as well- not a tough quiz to someone who is interested in the larger world.

That's what I was thinking to Senior Chief. when I was a young adult, college, etc you're thinking about your college classes, your career, etc. while I voted, I don't think I would have known the answers to these questions if asked 'back in the day'.

Even the quiz demographics support this statement. With the exception of college graduates, age 50+ scored better than any other age group. So if you're 50+ AND a college grad (which my bet is a lot of you are), then it's no wonder the members reporting are scoring so high.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

My Canadian friend just took the test and turns out she knows more about American politics than 50% of the Americans that took it. Now thats just sad.

I had another look at the bar graph at the end of the survay; only 2% got all 11 correct; I just have to assume that these are the only ones posting here, as all of those posting here got 10 or eleven correct. What I would like to know is where are the other 98%? Don't they post on these threads????

Can only assume when you miss more than one or two on a test that simple, you don't feel like posting your results. I sure wouldn't.

I have often thought a test like this should be given before you are allowed to vote, would leave out questions about Facebook, put the others seem valid as I remember the test.

10 / 11 not bad for an older person----guess a younger person would know about different things..
