Do you have a drone?

I'm thinking it would be fun to have a drone to film above and around where I am going in my coach and jeep. Anybody have one and is there one you would recommend?

I have a DJI Phantom 3 Pro. Very easy to fly. DJI has come out with the new Mavic drone, so the prices on the P3 Pro and P4 Pro are coming down.

I have the Phantom 4 and do just what you are talking about. Fantastic to see things around you that you normally wouldn't have seen. I have started shooting the campgrounds that I stay at so that others can see the layout before they get there. Could probably get the commercial license and start making a little extra on the side doing these kinds of things, or maybe even get some comps on camping if you shoot them a video. Regardless, it is just plain fun to fly that thing and see the different perspective of places from the air. JMO. I have a channel on YouTube RV Nuts, and you can see some of my videos there. Randy

Yep, I have one, it's currently about 40' up in the tree in our front yard. It's been there for about 3 weeks. Heck of a long time to stay aloft on one battery charge! Now if I can just get it back down again . . . .

I think if you get another drone and rig it up, you could use it to retrieve the 1st!

At first, I wanted a drone. Now that I've watched operators - 3 in campgrounds - I don't think I I'll get one. You can only look at so much aerial view unless there is a particular purpose or project. What I find more interesting are the electric, remote control gliders. Power way up, shut off the motor, and ride air currents.

A proper quick, brave, steady, ready gentleman!
