Is that the one right past Pride RV Resort on Hwy 276? If so, it's a beautiful park!

"Minnesota's North Shore" Lake Superior
Any spot between Duluth and the Canadian border. Heading up mid-July to start our "crawl" up the shore. Will host at Cascade River State Park for the month of August. (First time hosting and looking forward to it.) The big lake is a magical place.

I am thankful it has became beautiful county again. Thanks for the picture of how it is now.

Thank you so much. We sat in our yard and watched the slurry bombers going over our place. All of you did a wonderful job [emoji7]

SeaView Campground, Eastport, Maine.
The view includes whales, eagles, Passamaquoddy Bay, the Old Sow Whirlpool, Canadian Islands and some of the best sunrises ever. Always went in September.
We went there eight years in a row in our fifth wheel. The Class A has been there once so far. Hope to get back there again this September.

I've always wondered what makes landscapes of certain types draw people so fully.
For me, it's big craggy mountains, hopefully with snow or glaciers, pine trees, rivers, & waterfalls. So: the Rockies, Tetons, etc. Ouray, CO; Banff, AB; Lake Louise, AB, and Jasper are my favorites so far. Beehive Basin in Big Sky MT is pretty awesome, too. Now if I could just get all of those other people to stay out of "my" places, I'd be a happy camper :-)
Beaches, palm trees, etc do zilch for me. I actively dislike and avoid deserts. But I understand how these things could call to people.

Bryson City, NC. Been going there and camping since I was a kid. 40 something years later and it's still my favorite place to go. Tubing down Deep Creek reminds me of my youth.

Ever wonder where Floridians go on vacation? About every third car in the North Georgia/Western NC/East Tennessee mountains have Florida license plates. The region is absolutely beautiful, and those old worn down mountains draw RV'ers back year after year.
We store our fifth wheel in a member owned campground just over an hour outside of the edge of Atlanta. For $410 per year, we can camp 14 days per month free--great buy. They even place our trailer on the campsite for us.

No I havent found such a place. Im guessing I never will. Now Im drifting around and I have wondered if I will find a place where I will want to return year after year. My fault but thats who I am.
The only complete happy place I have is when I lay down on my memory foam bed at night. I usually think to myself, at that moment, how much I like my motoring life and it doesnt matter where my motor home is parked at the time.

For me its Lassen National Park. My grandparents had a cabin south of the Park in Mill Creek from the 1930's. Their kids kept it until around 2007 when they all were too old to take care of it and all the cousins had dispersed and no one could step up and buy it.
It was one of those places where you had a love/hate relationship. My grandfather was a carpenter who thought he was a plumber and electrician. Lots of family stories on how that worked out.
Lots of fond memories of the park and its trails. Lassen is never crowded so we had the place to ourselves many times. When my son was about 10 we were climbing Lassen Peak and ran into a lady that asked us if the park was closed.
We don't get up there a lot, but did get back last fall for our ACE's maiden trip. Camped at Manzanita Lake and got to go to the old place in Mill Creek. It was just changing hands again and we ran into the outgoing owners just as they were cleaning out the last of their stuff so we got to see what had been done since the family sold it.

For us it's Zion National Park. Followed closely by Bryce, Yellowstone, Rocky Mountain National Parks.

For me it is the mountains, really doesn't matter which, just the mountains. Preferably a half hour to an hour before dawn, that quiet time when the birds begin to awaken and welcome the dawn. Cool weather and steaming cup of coffee complete the moment!

For my soul connection, it has to be my hometown. It's not an RV destination but it is the place where I feel I really belong. For renewal, the mountains, any mountains, do it for me.
