Do you want a bed near the window?
The Bathtub Test
During a visit to my doctor, I asked him, "How do you determine whether or not an older person should be put in an old age home?"
"Well," he said, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the person to empty the bathtub."
"Oh, I understand," I said. "A normal person would use... the
bucket because it is bigger than the spoon or the teacup."
"No" he said. "A normal person would pull the plug. Do you
want a bed near the window?"

Actually, when most people get ASKED that kind of question, especially when in written form, all they see are the choices given. If actually put in the situation, they would either ask if the given choices were the only ones permitted or just go ahead and pull the stopper. Many, if not most of the stopper pullers would feel like they were cheating and, of those, less than half would feel guilty about cheating. Even then, many of them would have their choices affected if they thought someone was watching them.

Well...I asked this of my Huuby...He wisely asked me..."How soon do I have to accompshish the task, and what is my incentive for accomphishing this early? I guess that it is all a condition of the request... If he needs a teaspoon to prolong the task to prolong the "life of the task..." yes...I want him to use a teaspoon.... Got to keep him around for a while.....

I want a window overlooking the park, Joe.
My problem of course is I mostly take showers so I have very little experience draining tubs. I do recall having a little rubber duck that would suck up the water and I could spray the water out its mouth. Wonder what ever happened to that duck? It was yellow with an orange beak just in case you run across it. Its probably in Joes room just waiting for me.
Thanks for the laff, Joe.
