Wife and I ride every chance we get. Me on and ultra and she on a street glide. In fact I posted a question as to how we can haul them with us in a TH. Am worried the weight of the bikes will not allow to haul other necessities, such as water when we boondock. Wish we could just bike all time but tough to haul much gear, let alone enough beer!

Pretty much, loud pipes just make noise. Talent and situational awareness save lives!

Nope...my pipes are standard...for that I'm called a wimp, including by my DW. Loud pipes hurt my ears...on the other hand, my Harley DOES NOT sound like a sewing machine

My very first HD.

I might be getting a REALLY old one: a rigid with a 45 motor, 3-speed with jockey shift/foot clutch, z-bars....an old school "rat bike".

I've ridden it once, it's a headturner.
