Most mornings I wake up in one of five or six places and know where I"m at, but when I do my semi-annual migration... Heck, the only reason I know where I'm at is either:
One: The city name on the receipt for what I bought when I parked last night.
Two: The GPS tells me.
For example.. I have no idea where I spent the first night this year (Somewhere north of Cincinnatti) stopped for Lunch and gas in Georgetown KY, Parked for the night in Viola TN (Supermarket lot, they were closed for Thanksgiving) woke up Black Friday and drove 7 miles to a nearly empty Wal*Mart for my black friday gift to myself (Which by the way I just used, a new sewing machine) and went to bed that evening in South Cove Park, Seneca, SC (one of the big five).
802 miles from Davison, MI. to Seneca, SC. I left Taylor MI (perhaps 70 miles into the trip) about 2:30 Thanksgiving Eve.. Pulled into South cove same time Black Friday.
I checked into hospital this summer with congestive heart failure.. I think they fixed me properly... Cause I sure could not have done that last year.
Home is where I park it!
