Don't reveal passwords on National TV.

This is social engineering, plain and simple.
Now, I'm going to tell you my favorite password, but it is spelled backwards.
It is "BOB"

Jimmy Kimmel gets total strangers to tell him their passwords.

Yes, I have used that one also. Kept forgetting how many I had put in. Had to change it.

I have also used kayak, radar, level, and senile felines, but of course I spelled them all backwards for security reasons.

It was suggested to me to take a phrase or sentence you can remember and then use the first letter of each word (or last letter) in the sentence.
Like: my wife is from South Dakota. password: mwifSD or yesmha (last letter). Some passwords require a number or symbol so chose the ones you can remember. I usually keep a record of the passwords in a safe place in my home.

I use Bible verses. A great combination of capital letters, lower case letters, numbers and a symbol. Sometimes I will spell out one of the numbers. \ken

A combination of lower case, upper case, numbers, and special characters is the best of the security world. Using the first letter of a sentence and adding number and special characters interspersed would be a strong password.

For those with a lot of passwords, and I have a lot. there is a program that I use (there are other programs also) called 1Password. It is for the PC or MAC. I think you can use the trial version with 20 passwords. (Dont' quote me on that.) it does more than just store your passwords. Nice thing about it is that you can secure it with a master password so all you have to remember is one password and the program will do the rest for you. I use a server for the "key" so I have access with all my devices.

I use jibberish!

It's so secure, half the time I can't even figure it out!

At one time (long, long, time ago) my password was pass*word.

NOTE: That was not the password I intended, but when I filled out the form that was what I put in, I handed it to the technician who set up the account and meant for him to ask, but that's what he entered.

It was changed shortly thereafter.
