There will be an apocalypse for real one day when the sun begins to expand. They say all human life should be long extinct by then but who knows. Thats a few billion years from now when the sun swallows the earth whole and then eventually burns out. Hope we can find a way to move to other planets by then.

Looks like we survived again. Now I will have to find a use for all the extra beer I bought

Along these lines. Years ago I did some work at a communications location that was three stories underground. Big fans to blow out nuclear winter or something. Three foot thick concrete walls. Everything mounted on springs to take the shock. I said to a guy working there "if there is a nuclear attack I am coming here". He replied "why there won't be anything left up top to survive for". He had a good point.

If you come across one of these bunkers, please help the people inside to be safe.

Weld the door shut before you leave.

And the beat goes on...

12/21/12 has come and gone for most of the earth. I guess the Mayans got it wrong. Or maybe the moderns trying to interpret what the Mayans were saying are a little too full of themselves. Once again we have survived the threat of global demise. Imagine that!

Have almost the complete series. Several of the last few books were out of print and I couldn't buy them. Nothing like being prepared.....
