Sadly the cops are just as guilty of doing some of this stuff too. I live across the street from the RCMP station and quite frequently see them leaving in their private vehicles after their shift talking on their phones. Some will say they are better trained drivers. Some are and some are not.

Having been a police officer, and taken the training,......I'll say Your
part right. All are trained better, Its just that some learn more than others.

We almost lost our daughter and grand daughter last year due to a teenager texting and broadsiding our daughter. She is still recovering.
I do not hesitate to call the police or the company who owns the vehicle, if I notice bad driving. At least I feel like I have done what I could to perhaps saving someone innocently becoming a victim. Some companies thank me for my call some seem not to interested.
