Drum and Bugle Corps

Anyone ever have any affiliation with Drum and Bugle Corps. Members, supporters, instructors? They put on quite an entertaining show and a DCI affiliation is a pretty big deal. These kids travel the country the entire summer performing in either parades or on field competition and it culminates in Indianapolis, Indiana in August for the championship. I used to belong the Royal Lancers of Wyandotte, MI from 63-68. We used to have a great time and I have just recently gotten back in touch with some corps members and hope to meet them sometime this summer at a couple shows in the areas we'll be visiting.

Grew up in band from fourth grade up through college. We competed in high school and were the Atlantic Coast Champions in TOB for many years. During the summer we played with the Garfield Cadets. I now play with pipe and drum bands. Tidewater Pipes and Drums and Newport News Police Pipes and Drums.
