Dumb things

I was watching a high school baseball tournament yesterday, the field was adjacent to the Interstate. Between innings I watched the traffic. Sure enough, here comes a Class A with the stick antenna still up........Oh no, as he passes I see it is NOT a stick antenna, it is a Traveler Satellite dish that is pointing straight up. It had not completed the stow operation. That won't be a cheap fix! "But for the grace of God, there go I"

He may have done a walk around inspection before leaving but forgot to look UP. Then again, if the RV was on the Interstate, the Sat may have been in use = self tracking for the passengers.
I find it helpful when Campgrounds put "Did you remember to check...." signs up before you exit the park.

Dumb things seen too often on this board, is responses offered by "experts" too lazy to take time read and comprehend the question/problem (or previous replies!) - but PLENTY of time to type out an off-topic reply or "solution" that in NO way relates to that question or problem...
