Fred, we have this place Netflix - Unlimited TV Shows & Movies Online for movies over the winter at home. 3 movies out at a time gives us a movie just about every night. If you like movies this place is great, just sit at your computer and make selections and they show up in the mail. 3 movies out is $16.00 and change a month. I believe you can try it for 30 days for free also.

When traveling we use an APP on our iPhone for Redbox. It allows you to search to find a nearby box, Reserve a DVD and then we go and pick it up, usually on a grocery run. Works pretty good and bypasses trying to overload a campground's WiFi to stream one.

Be careful using redbox... Lots of problems with crooks putting card readers on them to steal your info. They got us and our bank said it was quite often that crooks use redbox. So be careful!!!!

That's odd since the redox readers use external swipe devices. I'm not sure how a crook could add a card reader. I use redbox every week.

I refuse to let paranoia or fear limit my actions. Credit cards can only charge a max of $50 for a stolen card, and most won't even charge that if you notify them promptly. It's bad enough TSA is completely reactive to airline security but ignores trains, trucks, pipelines, power grid and all the other ways we could be harmed. Life is too short to worry. Just be alert and careful.

You can buy from Amazon, that is if you want to buy them or TCM.com.

Bob I agree. Most people will give their credit card to a waiter or waitress who walks away with it for 5 minutes without even thinking about it but are paranoid about using it online. It's SAFER online.

I've never had a security issue at Amazon and they have an incredible selection of John Wayne movies. I have 2 shelves in the RV full of the Duke.

X2, But,to answer the origanal post I too have Netflix, but I save money by only having the 2 out at a time package. If that doesn't work I use the Redbox thing. But, I get a few TV channels where ever I camp and I rarely watch TV when I'm out anyway. Only on rain days or when someones kids are in the trailer. For them I have cartoons I purchased on DVD.

If you get the DVDs from Netflix you can burn them onto a hard drive or find someone who has them and burn onto a hard drive so u dont take up room with DVD cases plus this way you will never scratch the DVDs. Just a suggestion since they take up space. I have 5 hard drives and they have altogether over 1000 movies on them.

If you want to actually buy a DVD from a reputable vendor, I would check amazon.com or maybe walmart.com. Netflix is good source for renting DVDs, but disk deliveries are only with the monthly DVD plans that are more expensive than the streaming plans.

Only $8.86 from Amazon: Amazon.com: John Wayne: The Searchers: John Wayne, Natalie Wood, John Ford: Movies & TV
