How many days/months do you now have smoke free, Ted? We got our "His & Her starter pack" today, charged them up and tried them out. I'll have to say they are a little different, but doable in the different way to take a drag off of it. Ronnie decided he needed a real cig. took a drag off of it and his reaction was UCK! LOL So we're only a few hours into it, but I think it's something that will will definitely continue. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and providing your thoughts and info, as well as the others here who have shown support.

Going on 3 months

well, I'm not Ted, but my DH is going on 3 months now with the ecig. His morning hack has almost disappeared. He isn't wheezing at night and best of all, I can breathe again! Initial expense was high but compared to the price hikes in cigarettes, we will save money. Sometimes, he even forgets to 'smoke'. kkd

I apologize for not following this thread, but my ears got to burnin' and now I know why. Although I cannot help you stop smokin' I can offer this.

Have Seajay send me a check, all filled out, without a signature. I'll sign it and send it to you. You will then have a worthless check with a great signature. No one will be able to read the signature, so you can possibly pass it off as Seajay's, although it will still be worthless, except for the great signature.

I also smoked, especially after sex - and I know because I checked, and quit smokin'. My method was considerably different. My wife gave up sex - just kidding - well, not really. Actually, being a Marine, I had the will power to just quit. After all, it is "mind over matter," and unlike a sailor, I have a mind.

So, just put it in your mind that you want to be healthy, live longer, enjoy sex without the hassle of looking for that pack, and JUST QUIT. If I could do it, anyone could do it.

Not trying to get this going again,

but just thought I would update and wouldn't mind hearing from others who have tried the e-cig. DH is still 'vapin', but not nearly as often. He can make a pack of five last nearly a week. Our son still smokes and just can't make himself switch. Maybe he will when I tell him he has to take it outside. Winter will be here soon. Going to get mighty chilly just to take a draw on something that is going to kill you eventually. Hope all of you are doing well. Have to say that Don (DH) did try to smoke a regular cig one day. Said he nearly fell down. All it took was one draw and nausea washed over him big time. I didn't say anything hehehe. kaykaydee
