Earthquake

Anybody else get to experience the rockin' and rollin' today? We were in Au Sable Forks, NY and the Malibu (junk) shook like the toy it is.

Shook Alliston Ontario Canada pretty good. Girl I talked to on the phone was a little rattled by it.

My dog ''Gus'' hopped in the bed with me while I was playing on my Playstation 3. He was nervous as a cat and panting like heck. I patted his head and scratched his belly to try to calm him down but it did not help. Willa stepped in the door and said we had just had an ''earthquake'' and did I feel it. Nope, didnt feel a thing. She said it sounded and felt like someone hit the house with a sack of flour.......''THUMP''.... that was it.....

I was driving at the time and never noticed it. Most everyone I talked to felt it.

I couldn't figure out why the Poodle statues in my china cabinet were dancing around. My first thought was construction. Went downstairs to work and a client told me what had happened.

Felt it in St Catherines Ont. CBC news say it was felt as far north as Sudbury. We are on a 3mth trip and since we got to Ont we have just missed a tornado and wild storm in N Ont and a tornado not far from where we are staying for a week 2 days ago and now an earthquake rattling the house at lunch today. Ummm maybe its time to hit the road. LOL

Warrenton, Va just north of the center (20 miles). It was a good test of the old shocks - they passed. No damage except to some brick buildings like schools - the grocery stores had to clean up and re-stock the shelves.
