Is there a way to find the email address of someone if you know their name and home address?

I know! Not the answer you were looking for.

At one time there were several sites that you could harvest a lot of information off of. Most of them now charge for the service, if you can find them. Something to do with privacy issues, and people were harvesting the email addresses and flooding the servers with spam.

Jim,
That is what I said.
Sometimes it is as cheap as a $1 or so, and other sites ask for a lot more.
It depends on how much the person needs the information.

Also, check the school alumni forums. Sometimes you can find old acquaintances there.

Also try Facebook.

I have found that Facebook is OK if the person you are searching for has an unusual name......a common name can require a LOT of digging through results.

That is correct, and you have to determine how much you want to find a person. I one time spent many hours looking for someone on Facebook (when I was a member) and it paid off. I have since deleted my account because of the incessant request to be friends of friends, of someone who you may want to be friends, with.

Many of those pay sites you see will charge you just for the day, 30 days, or year, as low as a couple bucks for the day use, and on upward for yearly use.

Post on some of the private forums who you are looking for. It's a small world. I would not put their name here as this is an open forum.
