I believe the scheduled time is 6:00 PM but no time zone was mentioned. Some 200,000 people are supposed to depart the earth and the rest of us have until October to get our act together. The story differs depending on who you talk to. One client said he wished he knew if it was true so he could take out his ex-wife. Me, I'm more bummed because it's going to be sunny tomorrow and I have all kinds of projects planned after 5 rainy days.

Good idea, I think I will have some wine and listen to some good music, wait, that was last weekend too.

Well... Theory (or is they Myth) has it the next end of the world is 1,000 years after the first one.. Of course fact has it "ye shall not know the day, nor the hour" or some thing rather close to that. (Bible translation, Same meaning, may be different words)

IF, you believe the world will end tomorrow.. Please send me a large check to be cashed on Monday.. Thank you.

I sure wish when the EOW is announced that it is true because everytime my DW hears it she runs to the stores and screams "CHARGE IT". Her excuse is "Well, if the world is going to end tomorrow then why worry about the bills". Have you ever seen the damage an AMEX card can do? WHEW!!!

A song by one of my favorite songwriters has lyrics that go

"Why not blow a wad of dough and see the world at large,
If the world should end, 'least we'll know my friend,
that we both beat out MasterCharge!"
