I like these preachers who claim to have studied the Bible and figured out the date teh world will end.

If they had, in fact, studied the Bible they might have seen the passage where Christ was ask that very question and his answer, which can be paraphrased as:

Only the father knows, and he is not telling, not even to me, His son.

We have a groupe in Clearwater Florida that believes that there is a planet circling earth and they will all be transported there; (not sure when).
To each his own.

I have the ticket concession for this once in a lifetime, epic journey.
$10.00 for the first class seating area and $5.00 for steerage. Both first and second class will recieve an gift wraped DVD of our trip along with copies of the sheet music of memorable, heart warming songs we sang during our voyage.
Send me a PM so that I can let you know where to send the money. All tickets will be sent in a plain brown envelope to prevent your neighbors from finding out what a wack job you are.
BON VOYAGE, Capn Chuck

Chuck, I don't believe your taking this seriously. There is room here for an old saying. " We're all trying to get to Heaven, but not willing to die to get there! " Only when we come face to face with our maker will we become aware of any plans he has for us. So the best way to proceed is to treat every day as or last, and every action as the one we will be judged on.

I hope this doesn't overstep the forum, Religion discusion guidelines.

I don't understand why Rev. Camping gets all the publicity. He's obviously a raving nutter! He'll be wrong again this time.

Slow news day, if the press keep knocking at his door , and people keep sending him money, he'll keep on doing what he's doing.
He probably pays no taxes, and the people who send him money use it as a write off; that's the part that hurts!

Sorry, my wife is out shopping with her sister, she beat you to it.
Snail mail , wouldn't get it there in time anyway, and my Blackberry , well lets say that wouldn't be any quicker.
